Advantages and Disadvantages of rooting android (pros and cons )

Rooting Benefits

There are  a lot of misconceptions about rooting your android device . In this post we'll discuss
its benefits , problems and how to ........

Rooting facts-

1.IT IS NOT ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS .......!!!!!!
Although it makes your device more vulnerable to bugs and freezing but side by side now giving you
special privileges for removing existing bugs .

2.Rooting is phone and firmware specific
Rooting gives you root privileges with which you can use full capabilities of your device but rooting packages are different for different devices and their firmware .  You can easily find rooting package
for your device on internet but research a lot before actually rooting your device as there are many
things you should know before rooting.

3.Warranty gets void after rooting but can be regained after unrooting
After rooting your warranty is over....!!!!

4.  Do not root until you have any aim
Their is no use of rooting until you really want to do any thing rooting (eg. over clock) because why to void warranty just for trying something .

Benefits-

1.custom ROMS
ROM can be seen as your device OS . After rooting you can replace your stock ROM (came with phone when purchased) with a more stable ROM for your device. You can also install ICS

2.Over clock
You can use various applications like setcpu to over clock your processor but it can harm your
processor but no significant problem is seen normally.

3.Various tweeks
Tweeks can be installed separately or sometimes included in the package .
Tweeks can be graphics related , battery performance etc.

4.Customization
You can install themes , visual packs ,custom boot animation etc.

5.Apart from these you can do a lot more after rooting in fact you can swipe your internal
memory with your memory card (with some restrictions )  or remove unwanted pre-installed applications. All you have to do is search the net.

Problems problem mainly occurs if you couldn't root in proper way

1.Biggest problem which can occur is phone bricked  . then you have 2 option , either go to
service centre or flash stock ROM .

2.Data can erased while rooting . Prefer to take a back up of your data. There are a lot of
applications available on google play .

3.Some kernels do not support over clocking and installing other kernel might make your device unstable (auto-restart etc.) .

4.After installing custom ROM you will loose access to some default applications like samsung store in samsung phones.
